Renowned Ayurved specialist Dr. om Prakash Verma, who has run the Ayurvedic care clinic Vachak Ayurved since 2006, believes that Ayurved is not just an alternative healing therapy but a very effective one too. Dr. Verma had wanted to serve humanity since his college days. After completing his BSc degree at Lucknow University, he applied for a bams (Ayurvedacharya) course at Kanpur University. Afterward, he obtained an MD (ayurveda vachaspati) degree from Uttarakhand University. Since then, he has never looked back and has dedicated himself to the service of mankind, trying to contribute his little bit in order to promote ayurveda, which is a proven and ancient way of treating several chronic ailments. Thousands of patients have so far been treated by him. And most of them have been cured and benefited from ayurvedic treatment for several diseases like joint pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid, arthritis, spondylitis, ankylosing spondylitis, slip disc, gout, frozen shoulder, sciatica, fibromyalgia, offered by his clinic in Alambagh and Munshipuliya. That patients from far-flung areas are visiting his clinic for treatment of chronic ailments, speaks about his polarity nowadays.

Ayurvedic treatments need patience as Dr. Verma explains people are often impatient. They want a quick solution to everything. And the same applies to the treatment of disease. One must remember it takes time to get things sorted out. Similarly, in the case of chronic diseases, the cure is a time-consuming process and it must be continued for the required time uninterruptedly. It holds good for any means of treatment, be it allopathy, homeopathy, Unani, or Ayurveda. There are no shortcuts in this Ayurvedic healing methodology. Also, it depends on diet and other precautions as suggested by the doctor.in any case, we advise taking easily digestible food items, more liquids, pulses, green vegetables, fiber-rich cereals like barleys, grams, etc. Indigestible food, fast food, pickles, garam masala, etc. must be avoided. Excessive hard work and insufficient sleep prevent recovery.
